The Canadian Crypto market was fragmented and lacking a novice friendly, full-featured platform. On a mission to become Canada's default Crypto app, we launched the first regulated staking tool in the country with Wealthsimple. I led the end-to-end design of staking feature, balancing education, regulation, and backend complexity to create a high-trust, high-impact experience. The feature reached an 18% adoption rate among eligible clients early into it's launch, drove client growth to Wealthsimple and created a new revenue stream for the business.
