Through initial research we learned that 88.7% of merchants were managing warranty workflows manually and over two-thirds of Merchant success managers reported lost sales because of this. I designed Loop’s first end-to-end warranty system across three surfaces: the shopper portal, merchant claim processing, and a new configuration tool. I adapted fragile legacy flows, introduced extensible UX patterns, and partnered directly with merchants to shape policy logic and claims review. We launched just ahead of peak season. In the first quarter, 107 merchants onboarded (exceeding our target), with 179 policies created. The feature drove over 36,000 additional return-related orders, resulting in an 8.24% lift in return volume — a direct contributor to platform revenue.
